EAA Air Academy Attendee and Rotorcorp “Helper” Ethan Casey successfully removed a Lycoming O-360 engine from a salvage Robinson R22 Helicopter at the age of eleven.

 

Accepted To EAA Air Academy

EAA AVIATION CENTER, OSHKOSH, WISCONSIN.  The Experimental Aircraft Association, Inc. proudly announces that ETHAN CASEY of Atlanta, GA has been accepted to attend the EAA Young Eagles Camp 2015 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

The EAA Air Academy offers young people the opportunity to meet and work with aviation professionals, while living and learning the arts, sciences and lore of aviation in both classrooom and workshop settings.  Activities in the camp include  Airplane Wing Construction, Aeromodeling, Ground School, Airplanes and Flight Instruction.

Attendees join many young people, ages 12-13 in this aviation program. Participants in the EAA Air Academy come from around the United States and several foreign countries.

EAA  Director of Museum & Museum Education, Bob Campbell, says “The EAA Air Academy teaches young people new skills and instills a pride of craftsmanship.
