In a press release on January 8, 2025, Robinson Helicopter Company announced a new partnership with Rotorcorp Services, formerly known as Rotorcorp. This move is part of a broader strategy, led by Randy Shaffer, VP of Customer Success, to enhance Robinson’s worldwide service center network. The goal is to ensure that service centers are well-equipped and prepared to provide fast, attentive parts support and factory-trained service for their local operators.
“This collaboration helps us improve aircraft safety, speed up parts delivery, and enhance customer service for our global operators,” said David Smith, president and CEO of Robinson Helicopter.
While Rotorcorp Services will no longer take new orders for Robinson parts, customers with active orders can rest assured that they will continue to be processed and delivered promptly by the same trusted team.
The shift in Rotorcorp’s business model reflects a new emphasis on sharing expertise to better support Robinson’s aftermarket services and products. This change also led to the creation of a new ownership structure, honoring key contributors, including Tracy Jensen, Mechell James, Mike Gomez, and Sean Casey, who have played crucial roles in Rotorcorp’s past success. These leaders will remain integral to the ongoing partnership with Robinson Helicopter Company.
“Rotorcorp has been a key partner over the last decade and will serve as a critical part of our network,” said David Smith.
