It’s been over a week since Boeing’s Global Services website was targeted by a ransomware cyber attack on November 1st. Unfortunately, the site remains down, despite company representatives indicating to Rotorcorp that they had hoped to restore service by this time. Boeing is the sole supplier of Rolls Royce 300 engine parts and components, meaning this outage poses a significant issue for customers servicing their Robinson R66 Helicopters.
While Rotorcorp is continuing to monitor the situation for a small number of open orders in process through Boeing, we also want to inform R66 operators that we do have a limited inventory of RR300 components in-stock and available to purchase through our webstore. Rotorcorp capabilities include the ability to combine both R66 airframe and RR300 engine components for delivery to our global customer base.
