Atlanta helicopter parts distributor to achieve national recognition

ATLANTA, July 7 2017- Rotorcorp announced today that it has been named by executive training company Ineterise as a finalist for the “Company to Watch” award for 2017, as part of the Federal Small Business Administration Emerging Leaders program.  Administered by Ineterise, the Emerging Leaders Initiative is  an intensive 7-month executive education program focusing on businesses poised for growth in historically challenged communities. Through the program, Interise provides business leaders with the organizational framework, resource network, and motivation required to build sustainable enterprises and promote the economic development within urban communities.

Rotorcorp, a 2016 Emerging Leaders graduate, saw tremendous growth following its completion of the program and implementation of a 3-year strategic growth plan. The company is now on track to double its annual revenue and significantly grow its operating margins.

“Our strategic growth plan has positioned us to evolve Rotorcorp from a start-up to a well-established and respected distributor that today is recognized by Robinson helicopter operators around the world,” said Sean Casey, vice president of Rotorcorp.  “Our success over the past 12-months has put us on track to add 5 new aerospace jobs in the state of Georgia by 2019.”

Interise’s annual StreetWise Summit Small Business awards recognize the outstanding achievement of small business owners who are redefining the relationship between companies and communities.  Rotorcorp is one of five “Businesses to Watch” finalists out of the sixty cities in which the Emerging Leaders program was offered.  Award voting for “Business to Watch” and other categories will remain open until August 4, 2017. Award winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony concluding the StreetWise Summit on September 12, 2017.
