KI-285-1 is a retrofit kit now available to perform field installation of the new symmetrical horizontal stabilizer on tail cone P/N C023-21, -34, & -35 revision “AV” and prior tailcones. As desired, order KI-285-1 and replace C044-1 or -2 stabilizer per kit instructions.
KI-285-1 is presently approved for installation on all R66 helicopters except for those registered in countries reflected on the R66 Service Letter 45 (SL-45). The Service Letter document is updated regularly by Robinson with recent ongoing validations- PLEASE CONFIRM APPLICABLE APPROVAL STATUS BEFORE ORDERING.
Retrofit kit is offered at the base price with primer finish and optional charges for either white or custom paint colors. Out of production paint color options may be available with final approval by Robinson.
