Over the sound of inbound helicopters arriving in Anaheim, there’s a palpable buzz growing around the new strategic initiative launched by Helicopter Association International aimed at bolstering small businesses within the industry. Designed to help small businesses soar, the Small Business Initiatives Industry Advisory Council (SBI-IAC) is hosting a 90-minute event where industry experts will deliver actionable information that attendees can take home and put to immediate use in their operations.
Rotorcorp VP of Strategic Growth Mike Gomez will open with ‘Top Gun Tactics for Business Mavericks: Wisdom From a Sales Ace’ drawn from insights he gained through 20 years of consulting exclusively for small business owners and his past career of selling military aircraft for Boeing and Lockheed.
Following the opening, Rotorcorp Co-Founder and CEO Sean Casey will serve as a member of the “Ask the Experts” panel. Business owners can bring their toughest questions to get direct feed back and guidance from David Smith (COO, Robinson Helicopter Company), Kim Hutchings (Volo Mission), Joe Hawke (Uniflight), Tracee Harrison (Planet Air), and Travis Boyer (Masco Serivces).
In anticipation of the event, Casey expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunity to contribute to HAI’s initiative; “From flight schools and tour companies to game management and agriculture operators, so many of our customer are small businesses,” said Casey “We recognize that the success of Rotorcorp is directly related to the success of our customers and take seriously the importance of sharing our hard-earned knowledge”, he continued.
