Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) Credential Builds Credibility With International Customers
ATLANTA- The National Association of Small Business International Trade Educators (NASBITE International) today affirmed Rotorcorp President Sean T. Casey as a Certified Global Business Professional who may now bear the CGBP credential. As a professional organization of educators, trainers, service provides and practitioners, NASBITE has become the leading U.S. association supporting the field of global business.
Mr. Casey joins over 2000 global business professionals who have earned the CGBP designation. The Certified Global Business Professional accreditation certifies that a candidate is competent in several key international domains which include Global Business Management, Global Marketing, Supply Chain Management, and Trade Finance. The credential also helps individuals diversify their skills in global commerce and assure they understand a broad range of topics rather than just the specific field within international trade that they have experienced.
With nearly sixty percent of our annual sales being international in origin, Rotorcorp has been global since inception in 2011” Said Casey. In that time the Robinson helicopter parts distributor has grown to serve over one thousand customers in forty-five countries worldwide.
“One of the biggest challenges in international business is to establish and build credibility with customers a world away who may not have heard of or done business with Rotorcorp before” Casey stated. “The CGBP certification helps let potential customers know that our company is globally competent and has the fundamental capabilities to conduct international transactions”.
Sean gives a large part of the credit for passing the CGBP exam to the preparation gained during a two-day CGBP “Boot Camp” he attended at the National Small Business Exporter Summit held in Baltimore earlier in the year. The training session provided valuable technical information, testing strategy, practice exams and studying material.
