More Than Peaches & Peanuts- 40 Georgia Exporters Drive Economic Growth in the State for 2017

ATLANTA, GEORGIA- 23 March 2018: Atlanta Based Rotorcorp LLC received recognition by the State of Georgia as one of the State’s top exporters entering new international markets in 2017.  Along with nearly forty other Georgia small businesses, Rotorcorp was honored with the Georgia Globe Award by Georgia Governor Nathan Deal and Georgia Department of Economic Development Commissioner Pat Wilson.  With a drastic increase from the twenty four Globe Award recipients in 2016, the forty recipients for 2017 may reflect the 5% rise in export sales from the state last year.

“When people think of Georgia exports, they think of peaches and peanuts,” said Rotorcorp President Sean Casey “but Aerospace is the state’s top export”.

Indeed, Rotorcorp is among one of the over 500 Aerospace companies to call Georgia home, contributing a combined $8 Billion in export sales worldwide.   The company has seen a three-year revenue growth of 130%, finishing 2017 with 55% of sales exported to overseas Robinson helicopter owners, operators and maintainers.  Rotorcorp currently serves over 1000 customers in more than 45 countries around the world and plans for continued growth are heavily reliant on continued expansion of international markets.
