Baltimore Police Used Bootcamp Lights for Recruitment Campaign

For as little as $25 for a one minute message, Bootcamp Lights will scroll an advertisement across the ginormous 8-foot by 35-foot lighted billboard! The company’s inaugural flight included a promotion for a local club over 80,000 U2 fans at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore on June 22, 2011.  An out of work radio personality also used the flashing lights find a job at a local station!

The billboard frame is connected to the body of sister company’s Bootcamp Helicopters Robinson R22– suspended above the skids, but below the fuselage.  Due to this unique wire frame design (allowing proper airflow) the folks at Bootcamp were able to receive authorization from the FAA and are successfully takeoff and land without damaging the billboard.
